Sales Representative

About the role

The Sales Representative will be based in Ethiopia and will own the growth of our Academic, Biotech, Pharma, Industrial and Clinical customer base. The role combines territory development, customer training and strategic collaboration with internal teams and distribution partners to drive sustainable revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territorial business plan to meet sales targets.
• Support and train Account Managers, including onboarding and CRM usage guidance.
• Build and maintain a short‑ and long‑term sales pipeline.
• Identify and convert competitive accounts while expanding existing customers.
• Deliver quarterly strategic plans focused on distribution and direct revenue growth.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service and Technical Support to maximise revenue.
• Maintain one‑on‑one relationships with key distributor sales representatives.
• Attend local, regional and national trade shows as required.
• Provide quotations, technical assistance and answer product‑related questions.
• Continuously study the laboratory and analytical portfolio and monitor competitor activity.
• Record all customer interactions in the CRM system.

Required profile

• Based in Ethiopia with willingness to travel across the assigned territory.
• Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within scientific or laboratory markets.
• Strong ability to develop business plans and manage a sales pipeline.
• Excellent communication skills for training and customer interaction.
• Results‑oriented mindset with accountability for meeting sales targets.
