About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Bookkeeper to become the financial backbone of our fast‑paced team. Working on‑site at our Bole office, you will manage daily bookkeeping for US‑based clients using QuickBooks and support administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks (online or desktop)
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking
- Process invoices, payments, and follow up on outstanding balances
- Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and team members via phone and email
- Support scheduling and calendar coordination, including last‑minute changes
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to align financial and administrative tasks
- Track task progress and ensure timely follow‑up
- Resolve financial discrepancies in real time
Required profile
- Clear, professional English communication skills, confident on client calls
- Ability to handle urgent financial tasks with speed and accuracy
- Proactive problem‑solver who takes initiative before issues escalate
- Highly organized, low‑maintenance work style
- Comfortable working autonomously and delivering results without constant oversight
Required skills
- QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) – proficient level
- Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Drive)
- Microsoft Excel – intermediate (pivot tables, basic formulas)
- Project/task management tools (ClickUp, Trello, Asana, or similar)
- Communication tools (Slack, WhatsApp, Zoom)
