Commission Sales Associate

About the role

The Commission Sales Associate is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities for Emarosh Engineering’s construction services and nurturing long‑term client relationships to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and engage prospective clients.
• Conduct site and office visits with potential customers.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals and contract negotiations in collaboration with technical and management teams.
• Follow up on leads, track sales activities and maintain accurate records in company systems.
• Coordinate hand‑over of projects to project and finance teams.
• Participate in industry events and conduct regular market outreach to meet sales targets.

Required profile

• Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a proven track record of closing deals.
• Customer relationship management skills, including effective follow‑up and long‑term partnership building.
• Basic understanding of construction services, project workflows and technical terminology; construction or engineering sales experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; knowledge of local languages is advantageous.
• Ability to work on‑site, collaborate with cross‑functional teams and thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
• Previous experience in commission‑based sales, business development or account management is preferred.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field is an asset, though relevant experience will also be considered.
