About the role

The Driver I will be responsible for transporting messages, documents and other items between the North Addis District Office and various external locations. The role also includes routine vehicle upkeep to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Key responsibilities

Deliver letters, parcels and other items to the office and to external organisations or residences.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform minor maintenance such as spark‑plug cleaning, carburetor adjustment and fixing minor damages.
Check vehicle readiness each day (oil level, water, lights, safety equipment) and record daily mileage.
Report any accidents or unusual incidents promptly to supervisors.
Ensure compliance with traffic regulations and company transport policies.

Required profile

Valid driver’s licence (Category 4/3 or 1/2) issued by the appropriate authority.
Minimum two years of professional driving experience.
Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep accurate records.

Required skills

Basic vehicle maintenance and minor repair skills.
Record‑keeping of mileage and vehicle checks.
