About the role
The Finance Accountant will join East Africa Bottling Share Company in Ethiopia, reporting to the Country Lead Financial Control. This role ensures the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting, asset management, taxation and governance, supporting strategic decision‑making across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review statutory financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
- Maintain and reconcile asset registers and oversee tax compliance.
- Develop and monitor internal controls and capital management processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide accurate financial insights.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
Required profile
- Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Experience in financial accounting, statutory reporting and internal controls.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and partner with cross‑functional teams.
