Finance and Compliance Manager – Faith and Community Initiative

About the role

The Finance and Compliance Manager will lead financial planning, budgeting, and compliance for the Faith and Community Initiative Project. This role ensures the project’s financial health while aligning with World Vision policies, donor regulations, and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and long‑term strategic financial planning for the project.
• Provide strategic financial analysis against project milestones to support executive decision‑making.
• Coordinate finance activities between World Vision headquarters, project finance, and program teams.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, accounting, reporting, treasury management, and internal controls.
• Strengthen financial risk management systems and ensure compliance with donor rules and statutory requirements.
• Support budget holders in budget preparation, spend forecasting, and grant monitoring.
• Maintain accurate financial pipeline reports and monthly variance analyses.
• Provide technical assistance to consortium partners and act as the focal point for budget and reporting matters.
• Ensure timely posting and reconciliation of budgets in the Sun System.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy for large‑scale projects.
• Experience ensuring compliance with organizational policies, donor regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Capability to coordinate finance functions across multiple teams and partners.
