About the role

Hamrawi Advisory is seeking an Internal Auditor for a focused, two‑week on‑site project in Addis Ababa. The assignment centers on reviewing inventory management processes, tracking inventory movements, and reconciling those records with the company’s financial statements.

Key responsibilities

  • Examine inventory management procedures and related documentation.
  • Verify inventory movements and ensure records are accurate.
  • Reconcile inventory data with financial records and identify any mismatches.
  • Investigate discrepancies, follow up with relevant stakeholders, and document findings.
  • Prepare a concise report outlining observations, recommendations, and corrective actions.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in internal or external audit, financial review, or inventory‑focused assignments.
  • Strong analytical and accounting abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIA are advantageous.
