Junior Agronomist – Hydroponics & Greenhouse Production

About the role

The Junior Agronomist will support Guliet Biotech PLC in planning, implementing and optimizing crop production across hydroponic, greenhouse and open‑field systems. The role combines technical agronomy expertise with client advisory and project implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and monitor crop production schedules for hydroponic, greenhouse and open‑field farms, ensuring optimal yields and quality.
• Design, manage and improve hydroponic nutrient programs, monitoring pH, EC, dissolved oxygen and water quality.
• Conduct soil, water and nutrient assessments, develop fertilizer recommendations and oversee irrigation scheduling.
• Develop and implement Integrated Pest Management strategies and train staff on disease prevention.
• Carry out field trials, evaluate new varieties and technologies, and prepare technical reports.
• Provide agronomic advice to clients, conduct farm visits, deliver training and support after‑sales technical services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Horticulture, Plant Science, Agricultural Engineering or related field (Master’s a plus).
• 1–2 years of experience in hydroponics, greenhouse production or protected agriculture.
• Experience with agricultural development projects, NGOs or private agribusiness is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills with attention to detail.
