Mobile Health & Nutrition Nurse/Midwife (2 positions)

About the role

The Mobile Health and Nutrition Nurse/Midwife will implement mobile health services in Habru Woreda, delivering ANC, PNC, family planning, nutrition screening and EPI services while supporting health extension workers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ANC/PNC, family planning, nutrition screening for pregnant and lactating women, and OTP services.
• Deliver EPI vaccinations in collaboration with health extension workers and woreda health offices.
• Supervise, train and build capacity of health extension workers and facility staff.
• Manage daily drug and nutrition supply, maintain documentation, and compile weekly/monthly reports.
• Coordinate with local health authorities and ensure compliance with national protocols and Save the Children policies.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Nursing/Midwifery.
• Minimum 2 years experience (6 years for diploma holders) with at least 1 year in emergency health & nutrition, especially midwifery.
• Proficiency in Amharic, English and the local language.

Required skills

• ANC, PNC, family planning and nutrition screening.
• EPI service delivery.
• Training of trainers and peer‑group training.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
