Program Performance Consultant (5‑month contract)

About the role

Last Mile Health is seeking a short‑term Consultant to strengthen program performance in Ethiopia. Over a five‑month period, you will support strategic planning, monitoring, and grant oversight to ensure the country program meets its objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Partnerships and Communications team to package and disseminate the country strategy.
• Integrate the strategy into annual planning, lead periodic reviews, and design targeted interventions.
• Maintain dashboards tracking progress, performance, and risk; facilitate monthly OKR and quarterly performance reviews.
• Conduct costing analysis, monitor budgets, and ensure grant commitments and milestones are met.
• Lead development of proposals, donor decks, and strategic write‑ups aligned with donor priorities.
• Serve as liaison between the Ethiopia Country Program and Global Teams, providing project‑management support for inter‑departmental working groups.
• Drive continuous improvement in team structures, operational processes, and collaboration models.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (master’s preferred).
• Demonstrated experience improving performance in complex organizational environments.
• Work authorization for Ethiopia.
