Senior Copy/Content Writer

About the role

The Senior Copy/Content Writer will lead the creation of high‑impact content across a variety of digital channels. Reporting to the Content Lead/Creative Director, you will shape strategy, mentor junior writers, and ensure every piece aligns with client objectives and brand guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Create persuasive, engaging copy for websites, social media, email campaigns, product descriptions, white papers, and long‑form articles.
• Act as the quality‑control gatekeeper, reviewing and refining junior writers' output for clarity, creativity, and brand voice.
• Own high‑profile projects from concept through delivery, managing timelines and stakeholder expectations.
• Develop content strategies that support marketing goals and target‑audience needs, collaborating with Content Leads and Account Managers.
• Leverage data and audience insights to enhance relevance and performance of content.
• Mentor and provide constructive feedback to junior copywriters and freelancers.
• Conduct in‑depth research on industries, competitors, and audiences to craft resonant content.
• Track content performance using analytics tools, report insights, and recommend optimisations.
• Assist in planning the content calendar and identify process improvements to streamline production.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of professional copywriting or content creation experience with a strong portfolio.
• Proven ability to lead projects and mentor team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
