Senior Supply Chain Coordinator (Re‑advert)

About the role

The Senior Supply Chain Coordinator will ensure an effective, accountable supply chain system for Save the Children Ethiopia, covering procurement, fleet, warehousing, construction and asset management across Amhara, Tigray and Afar.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of supply chain plans, resources and performance management for the North Area.
• Oversee procurement, fleet, warehousing, construction and asset management, ensuring compliance with SCI policies and donor rules.
• Maintain and train staff on supply chain systems (ProSave, ProFleet/GlideGO, TIM, eAsset, eWaiver) and ensure accurate tracking of orders, assets and vehicles.
• Conduct market assessments, manage tender processes and negotiate contracts for high‑value transactions.
• Prepare and submit monthly supply chain reports, including procurement trackers, fleet performance and asset registers.

Required profile

• Level 3 child safeguarding contact – frequent or intensive interaction with children/young people.
• Experience leading supply chain functions in development or emergency contexts, with strong knowledge of SCI/Ethiopia policies.
