Graduate Trainee – Market Linkages (Jigjiga)

About the role

Inkomoko is seeking a motivated Graduate Trainee to support market linkage activities in Jigjiga. You will work closely with entrepreneurs, buyers and internal teams to create sustainable business connections that boost local economies.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and connect Inkomoko clients with local business opportunities, meeting a variety of buyers such as hotels, restaurants, schools and small processing firms.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with micro and small buyers in the region.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Investment teams to compile and prioritize a list of clients with high market‑linkage potential.
• Assist clients in preparing and submitting tender applications for local market opportunities.
• Support the design and implementation of digital solutions for B2B and B2C market linkages.
• Participate in regional platforms to enhance synergy between market objectives and other program areas.
• Initiate and help organise special projects such as trade fairs, promotional events, advertising campaigns and product‑development support.
