About the role

The Sales Executive will lead sales and market development for Liugong heavy construction and earth‑moving equipment in Ethiopia. The role focuses on identifying projects, building and managing key accounts, and delivering equipment solutions that meet customers' operational and financial requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities across construction, mining, infrastructure, and government sectors.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, fostering long‑term relationships with contractors, project owners, and decision‑makers.
  • Conduct site visits, project assessments, and equipment demonstrations to understand customer needs.
  • Prepare and present tailored equipment proposals, quotations, and financial solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets for heavy construction and earth‑moving equipment.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming projects to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Coordinate with technical, after‑sales, and logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery and post‑sale customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.

Required profile

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of sales experience in heavy equipment, construction machinery, or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ethiopian nationality or legal right to work in Ethiopia.
