Trade Marketing Supervisor – Harar

About the role

Safaricom Ethiopia is seeking a Trade Marketing Supervisor to lead retail and trade experience operations in Harar. The role focuses on driving commercial success by ensuring brand visibility, customer satisfaction, and the execution of trade marketing strategies across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement trade marketing activities that support sales growth and enhance the customer experience.
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure consistent brand presentation and execution of promotional campaigns.
• Monitor retail performance, gather market insights, and adjust tactics to meet targets.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to align trade initiatives with overall commercial objectives.
• Report on trade marketing results, KPIs, and ROI to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in trade marketing, retail management or a related commercial function.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
