Business Registration & Compliance Officer

About the role

Luy Systems helps Ethiopian businesses formalize and stay compliant, offering PLC formation, MOA drafting, TIN, VAT, trade licences and ongoing tax compliance. It has completed more than 500 PLC registrations and is growing its retainer client base. This full-time, on-site role in Addis Ababa handles client registrations end to end, explains what is happening to clients in plain language and helps keep retainer clients compliant and renewing.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience personally processing PLC registration, TIN, VAT and trade licences.
• Fluent Amharic and good English.
• Presentable and confident with clients, able to explain a number simply.
• Self-driven: finishes work without being chased.
• Trustworthy, with a guarantor and references.
• Nice to have: a diploma or degree in Accounting, Business or Law; experience selling or managing service clients.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Ethiopian tax and VAT filing.
• Personal experience handling PLC registration, TIN, VAT and trade licence procedures.

What we offer

• Salary of ETB 6,500 to 8,000 per month plus a performance bonus of up to 5,000 ETB.
