Director, Group Finance Policies and Reporting

About the role

Inkomoko is seeking a senior finance leader to shape and enforce finance policies across its multi-country operations. Reporting to the CFO, the Director will act as a strategic partner, ensuring financial excellence, compliance and scalability as the organization expands.

Key responsibilities

• Design, document and continuously improve standardized finance processes such as procure-to-pay, budgeting, reporting and internal controls.
• Drive automation and digitalisation of finance workflows across all country offices.
• Maintain efficiency, scalability and data integrity of financial operations through robust systems and processes.
• Lead the general-ledger ownership matrix and optimise the Chart of Accounts for group-wide reporting.
• Develop, harmonise and implement finance policies across countries and departments.
• Ensure policies meet donor, regulatory and internal governance requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, donors and regulatory bodies to align financial practices with Inkomoko’s mission.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience in a multi-country or multinational environment.
• Strong track record of policy development, governance and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work strategically with CFOs, donors, regulators and operational teams.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on process optimisation and compliance.
